I took my first Baptiste Power Yoga class in my hometown of Seattle in 2010. I’d practiced other styles of yoga, but none delivered the life-changing benefits I reaped in that first class. Where years of running, road cycling and high impact exercise had begun to take a toll, my Baptiste practice was an invitation into rejuvenation. It was my wake up to call to feel, heal, and tap into a new source of support I’d never experienced before. The practice has taught me to accept and appreciate the changes and wisdom that come with age, and has been a powerful conduit into my creativity.

I’m a Certified Baptiste Yoga teacher (RYT-200), and previously taught group fitness classes. I’ve completed Baptiste Levels 1, 2, and Art of Assisting. I have assisted Level 2, and taught at Baptiste studios in Boston, Seattle, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Princeton, and Hilton Head Island.

My classes will challenge you to move out of default mode and into somewhere new. Falling, smiling, and getting back up again are all part of the experience. Using the same sequence – Baptiste’s Journey Into Power – in every class, you’ll develop a powerful blueprint with which to progress from. Make no mistake – no class is ever the same! Through the simplicity, you’ll have ample opportunity to explore, play, and sweat in a loving and supportive environment.
