I found yoga in 2014 after I was diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune disease. I was amazed by the positive impact the practice had on both on my mental and physical health. I joined the Baptiste Power Yoga Boston community four years after I first started practicing yoga and can still recall the magic I felt as I walked into the practice space for the first time. I remember surrendering into the first downward dog, joining the chorus of breath filling the room, and feeling like I had truly come home.
In 2018 I decided to deepen my practice by completing several yoga teacher trainings including my 200-hour yoga teacher training in the sacred valley of Peru and a 100-hour trauma-informed yoga therapy teacher training for emotional health and healing. I have spent the last several years teaching at various studios across Boston and can honestly say that being a teacher of yoga is one of the greatest gifts and honors of my life.
