The Baptiste Power Yoga Boston 200 Hour Teacher Training is a highly personalized, in-depth training that empowers participants to step into a leadership role in their lives and their communities. Whether or not you go on to teach yoga, this program will empower you as a yoga student and a human being.

Studio owners Brandon Compagnone and Naima Workman draw upon nearly 40 years of combined classroom experience to impart the tools, confidence and knowledge you need to teach an impactful, inspiring power vinyasa yoga class. You will learn the fundamental principles of teaching and leading that go beyond yoga postures and transform lives.

The training consists of 160 classroom hours and 40 non-classroom hours and will take place during eight weekends. Here is just some of what we will cover in our training sessions:

The Baptiste Power Yoga Boston Teacher Training meets the standards for curriculum developed by Yoga Alliance. Students who successfully complete this training my register with Yoga Alliance as 200-Hour Certified Teachers. For more information about Yoga Alliance and its standards, go to yogaalliance.org.


 Participants in this teacher training must:

  • be at least 18 years old
  • be committed to attend 100% of every session
  • be coachable
  • have a radical commitment to personal growth

September 11-13, 25-27
October 2-4, 16-18, 23-25
November 13-15, 20-22
December 4-6

Weekend Training Schedule*:
Friday: 5:45pm-9:45pm 
Saturday: 9am-8pm
Sunday: 9am-4pm
*Times are approximate and may change as necessary.

Tuition:

  • Option 1 - One payment (total $3,800): A $500 deposit* due with application plus $3,300 to be paid in full by September 22, 2023
  • Option 2 - Installment plan (total $4,000): A $500 deposit* due with your application plus four installments of $875 due on September 11, October 2, October 23, and November 20.

*This deposit includes a non-refundable $200 administration and registration fee.

Additional reading materials are required for full participation in the course. The approximate investment for reading materials is $150, less if you already own or borrow your books. You will be provided a reading list prior to the training start date.

Refund/Cancellation Policy:

  • A full refund (minus $200 registration fee) will be issued if cancellation occurs more than 14 days before program start date.
  • No refunds within 14 days of program start date, except in cases of emergency, in which case a credit will be given for future training.
