I took my first Baptiste Power Yoga class in January 2020. The sequence and the heat were unlike anything I had experienced before. I was immediately hooked — I went back the next day and the day after that. To this day, the practice leaves me humbled and empowered in a way no other exercise has by giving me the tools to play my edge courageously and compassionately. I am grittier, wittier, and wiser because of this practice on and off the mat.
The more work I put in on my mat and the more involved I got in the Baptiste Power Yoga Boston community, the more I realized my next step was to share what I discovered through teaching. I completed my 200-hour teacher training with Brandon Compagnone and Naima Workman in December 2023. The experience left me inspired, lit up, and ready for more.
It is my honor and privilege to take what I have learned and serve the community through my teaching! My intention is to create a space where students feel empowered to explore their physical and mental capacities. I want to help my students discover what they can do when they give themselves permission to be vulnerable.
